About Us

Integrative Health Solutions (IHS) was founded in 2020 by Family Nurse Practitioners Sandy Doyal, APRN, FNP-C, and Krysta Turknett, APRN, FNP-C. With over 30 years of combined experience in healthcare, Sandy and Krysta bring a diverse background spanning from Intensive Care, Labor & Delivery, Inpatient Care Management, Outpatient Cardiology, and Family Practice.
Shannon Jamison, HHP, IHPL1, a Functional Health Practitioner with a background in Integrative Health, joined the IHS team. Her expertise was instrumental in expanding IHS’s services into Functional Medicine, further enhancing the clinic’s holistic approach.
The vision for IHS was born from a shared desire to offer patients a faith-based, non-traditional approach to healthcare—one that sees and treats the whole person. From its beginnings during the COVID-19 pandemic—providing acute care visits and IV vitamin infusions—IHS has continued to grow, recently opening a second location in Fredericksburg, Texas.
At IHS, Family Nurse Practitioners serve as advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) with graduate-level education—either a Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing. FNPs are specially trained in primary care, offering a full range of services including diagnosis, medical imaging, prescription management, and specialist referrals, for patients of all ages—from birth through end of life.
